Hi, I’m Kaia.
I’m passionate about providing college application and writing guidance. In my career, I’ve tutored and mentored hundreds of students of all ages in K-12 and university-level capacities. I also have extensive experience working on student applications for the wonderful people in my life. Outside of work, I like to do yoga, solo travel, listen to true crime podcasts, and play with my sister’s tabby cat, Rocky.
In addition to college admissions counseling, I’ve also mentored students as a Panhellenic Recruitment Advisor, and I worked as an Elementary Tutor for New Directions. I’m a University of Tampa alumna with a B.A. in Communication, Media & Culture, which I earned in 2.5 years. I have extensive experience writing copy, and my coursework emphasized research and presentation. My work is published in 3 magazines. Scroll down to see some writing samples!
My Unique Approach
Having graduated college in 2023, and gone through the application process as recently as 2020(?) for myself, I have relevant insight into the current state of the college application process from a student point of view. Which also means I know just how stressful it can be to tackle alone!
My degree and work experience is focused on marketing and organizational communication. This has equipped me to craft stories that highlight each student’s strengths and make applications shine.
I’m here to guide students and keep parents informed, so all parties are confident and comfortable about the process of applying.
